Developments in the world of technology, industry and construction encourage researchers to conduct research that leads to sustainable development and disaster mitigation efforts in Indonesia. In order to make this happen, activities that can accommodate researchers are needed to disseminate the results of their research. One of the activities that can be carried out is through a national seminar. Jurusan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Riau holds a national seminar called the Annual Civil Engineering Seminar.
