The Aceh International Journal of Social Sciences is an open access, peer-reviewed, quarterly journal that promotes dialogue and scholarship about social issues in the context of Aceh, Indonesia. After the 2004 tsunami devastated the coastal region of Aceh and killed more than 225,000 people, Aceh has been the focus of discussion by scholars from various disciplines globally.
