: Diabetes mellitus is a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by an increasement of glucose levels in blood, or hyperglycemia. The aim of this study is be known Motivation and Family Support Relationship with Independent Foot Care in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. Design of This study used cross sectional data related variables that are free or risk and the dependent variable or the result will be collected at the same time. Sample taking technique used accidental sampling with total sample as 47 people. The results of the statistical test Chi-Square test with a confidence level of 95% (α =0.05) and obtained p value 0.029 <0.05 there is a relationship between motivation and foot care independently and there was no correlation between family support with self foot care (p value 0.091> 0.05). Expected result of this study is result motivation and family support in foot care can independently increase.
