This study aims to improve the results learn the basic techniqueslong-range shot in the game of football through the application of the learningteam games tournament at SMP Veteran 1 Manyaran class VIII.B Wonogiridistrict school year 2012/2013.Used in this study is action research and conducted in two cycles.Subjects in this study are students of SMP Veteran 1 Manyaran class VIII.BWonogiri District by the number of students by 18 students consisting of 10 boysand 8 students daughters. In every cycle consists of four steps: Planning,Execution, Observation, and Reflection. The data obtained and analyzed throughthe stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, triangulation, andconclusion, where the techniques used for data collection phases obtained throughobservation, testing, and documentation activities in the form of photospalaksanaan learning activities.Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that throughthe application of the learning team tournament games in learning, can improvethe results learn the basic tec hniques long kick in football in SMP Veteran 1Manyaran class VIII.B Wonogiri District. From the results obtained have beenanalyzed significant improvement of learning outcomes from pre-cycle, the firstcycle and second cycle. In the pre-cycle students mastery percentage was only33.33% in the first cycle and the percentage of mastery learning basic techniquesyield a long-range reach 61.11% by the number of students who fall into thiscategory is completed by 12 students, while those on the second cyclecompleteness percentage of 83.33% is obtained by the number of students whocomplete categorized as many as 15 students of the total number of students is 18students.
