The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning outcomes of economic with implementation of audio visual learning media. The type of this research is classroom action research. The subjects were students of class XI IIS 2 of Senior High School 5 Surakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017 with 27 students. The data source are from teachers and students. The technique of data collection used are test and non-est. The validity of the data used are triangulation, content validity and review of key informans. Analysis of the data used is comparative descriptive statistical analysis, data analysis of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The procedures of this research are (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, (d) reflection. Based on the research implementation of audio visual learning media trough preparation, using media, evaluation, and follow up can improve student learning outcomes of economic. This was show that the average value of students in pre-cycle 77.78 with the percentage of 70.37%, the first cycle of the average value of students increased to 79.26 with the percentage of completeness 85.19%, and the second cycle the average value of students increased to 81.32 with the percentage of 88.89%. The conclusions of this reasearch is the implementation of audio-visual learning media can increasstudent's learning outcomes of economy at class XI IIS 2 of Senior High School 5 Surakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017.
