Abstrak

Learning the history of the present day is never separated from the presumption boring and lacked benefits for students. This happens because the learning that takes place is still conventional, and is not associated with contemporary issues, so that the subjects tended to have a place in the last historical interest by students, especially in high school. This study discusses the construction of history teaching through the learning model of problem-based learning (PBL). The expected outcome of this study is to guide students and teachers to play an active role in the learning process. The involvement of students and teachers will actively make learning more interesting. Model of problem-based learning (PBL) will lead students to think critically in understanding the historical knowledge that is associated with contemporary issues
