The purpose-of this research "The Influence of a Sense of Responsibility and Intelligence upon Learning Achievement" is to find out how far intelligence and responsibility affect the student´s learning achievement. Further, is it ,.,true that responsibility affects the student´s learning achievement more significantly than intelligence?This research was conducted at El Shadai Senior High School and was based on a random sample of 50 students specializing in social sciences. The result of data analysis shows that there is no significant positive correlation between intelligence and 7earning achievement r = 0.210, and thus no significant positive impact on, or effective contribution to, ´the achievement of learning, only 2.4%, whereas the correlation between responsibility and learning achievment is r = 0.453, significant at the level of 1% and its positive impact Or), or effective contribution to, the achievement of learning is18.8%. Thus the hypothesis that responsibility plays a more important role in influencing the achievement of learning than intelligence proves to be true in this research It is necessary to particularly. note than the achievement of learning here turns out to fiave a different meaning, or, more precisely interpreted as a number of the grades for certain lesson, the achievement of which is different from the ways required for the real achievements of/earning.Keyword: Responsibility, Intelligence, Learning Achievement.
