Good assessment and perception of customers on hospital will increase the hospital utilization. This was an observational study using cross-sectional approach. This study was aimed to analyze the patient assessment and perception on Dentistry Medical School€™s Hospital Universitas Airlangga on the hospital utilization. The respondents were total population of patient visited the hospital between 17 to 31 July, 2013. The study showed that respondents were less aware with their need in health services. The attitudes, expertise, and responses of dentist and dentistry students were rated low by the patients. Patients perceived that students were less friendly and less responsive. They also complained with too long waiting and service time with also combined by too frequent the visit treatment that they must be done. Therefore Dentistry Medical School€™s Hospital Universitas Airlangga should improve the service quality that suitable with what customers expected.
