: The Leadership of Subdistrict in Improving Employe Performance. The results showed that in improving the employee performance, the leader tend to implement the situational leadership theory and combined it with democratic leadership. In this case can be seen in the decision making that always involve the employees, authority delegation, work control, and communication between leader and subordinate. The employee performance valuation in the institution give more emphasis to situational leadership where in the performance valuation tend to give responsibility to employee as the trust feeling to the subordinate. Beside that at the Mojoroto sub district, the leaders are demanded to give motivation to influence the subordinates performance when there is obstacle internally or externally.
