: Communication principal is the process of delivering information (message) to the teacher and can carry the information to the students. Principal as resources in schools are needed by teachers, in order that delivered can be implemented for the development of teachers themselves and also for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication principals, include: Professional teacher; Discipline teacher; and responsibilities of teachers. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods, techniques of data collection is done through interview, observation guidelines, and documentation. Research subjects are teachers, heads, and school committee in SMA 1 Geumpang. The research found: Communication principals in improving teachers' professional that convey a message to the teacher either orally (calling and direct warning) or in writing (letter of warning); Communication principals in improving teacher discipline that is a great example by attending to school on time and return the end; and Communication principals in improving the teacher's responsibility is interpersonal communication and communication in solving problems in learning how to coordinate and seek solutions to the committee and the school superintendent, and the Department of Education related. Expected to committees and principals in order to provide encouragement and guidance in the performance of professional teachers, discipline and responsibility of teachers to effectively and efficiently so as to improve the performance of teachers in the school.
