Tea is a beverage that is high demand, in addition to the knowledge about the properties of tea compsution, makes tea an export commodity for Indonesia. Indonesia is the world's sixth largest tea exporter. The purpose of this study was (1) to analyze the position of Indonesian tea competitiveness in the International market, (2) analyze the trade specialization of Indonesian tea in the International market, (3) analyze the market structure and the position of Indonesian tea in the tea trade in the International market. This study uses annual time series secondary data, with a period of 21 years from 1991 to 2011 for analysis of the competitiveness and trade specialization of Indonesian`s tea, and a period of 11 years from the year 2001-2011 for analysis International tea market structure. In this study used analysis RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) and Potter`s Diamond Theory for the competitiveness of Indonesian tea, ISP (Trade Specialization Index) for the analysis of trade specialization of Indonesian tea and IH (Herfindahl Index) and CR4 for analysis International tea market structure. The results of the research conducted is (1) Position the competitiveness of Indonesian tea is comparatively lower than in Kenya, Sri Lanka, India however, still higher than China while on a competitive basis shows that Indonesia tea commodities strong competitiveness because of internal factors and externally in the production of tea is readily available, although there are several factors that must be addressed further, (2) Specialization Indonesian tea trade shows that Indonesian exporters of tea, (3) market structure faced by Indonesia in the International tea market is an oligopoly market. Indonesian's position in the International tea is market follower.
