Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Berpendekatan Multikultur Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Ditinjau Dari Konsep Diri Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dawan Klungkung

Abstrak

This study aimed at finding out and analyzing the effect of Cooperative Learning model assisted with multiculture Approach on the increase of social science learning achievement as viewed from Self Councept. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Dawan with Post Test Only Control Group Design. The sample of this study consisted of 80 students that were selected by using Random Sampling. The data obtained were analyzed by two-way ANOVA (Analysis of Varians) with F test, which was followed by Tukey test. The result of the study show the followings : (1) on the whole, the social science learning achievement of the students who learned with Cooperative Learning assisted with multiculture approach was higher than those who learned with conventional strategy (FA value of 4,926 at = 0,05, (2) the student who had positive Self Concept and learned by Cooperative Learning assisted with multiculture approach had higher social science learning achievement than those who had positive self concept and learned with conventional strategy (Q value of 3,138 at = 0,05), (3) the student who had negative self concept and learned with conventional strategy had higher social science learning achievement than those who had negative self concept and learned with Cooperative Learning assisted with multiculture approach (Q value of 3,203 at = 0,05), and (4) there are was an interaction effect between the use of teaching learning model and self concept (FAB value 29,402 at = 0,05). From the result of the study, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Learning assisted with multiculture approach effected the increase of learning achievement as viewed from self concept social science teaching and learning at class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Dawan.
