Adabiyyāt merupakan jurnal ilmiah untuk memperkaya wacana bahasa dan sastra, serta sebagai media komunikasi ilmiah bagi para peminat dan pemerhati seputar bahasa dan sastra, baik Arab, Inggris maupun Indonesia. Adabiyyat kali pertama terbit pada tahun 2002 dengan nama “Adabiyyat, Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab” dengan nomor ISSN versi cetak 1412-3509. Namun, pada tahun 2007, untuk mengakomodasi keilmuan pada dua Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab serta Jurusan Sastra Inggris, dan memperluas penjaringan naskah, ada perubahan subnama dari Adabiyyat Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab diubah menjadi Adabiyy... see moreat, Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra.
