A Surge in Cyber-Crime During COVID-19

The prime goal of this research is to investigate if the cyber-crime has risen during coronavirus. People are using more internet and electronic devices in this pandemic time in the purpose of to perform their works those are possible through internet, as they are unable to go out due to coronavirus. For collection of data, it has been generated a questionnaire comprising of six questions. In these restrictions' times, data cannot be gathered interacting with people physically so social media has been used for gathering data. The questionnaire was sent to people through social media 1088 people were approached and 400 out of them responded on the questionnaire. The data is presented in different charts for analysis. This research is significant in knowing if people are being attacked or their data is being stolen more than ever before during coronavirus. The outcomes of this study show that people are literally suffering through a surge in cyber-crime and most of the people said their data have been stolen and they have also been attacked by hackers.

Participation of Community in Rural Development in Oengkolaki Village Mawasangka District Central Buton Regency

The purpose of this study was to determine the kinds of community participation and the factors driving community participation in rural development in Oengkolaki Village, Mawasangka District, Buton Tengah Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through literature review and field research conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data has been redundant, then completed the analysis by using qualitative techniques.  The results of the study aimed that the form of community participation in rural development in Oengkolaki Village, Mawasangka District, Buton Tengah Regency included participation in development planning, development implementation, and participating in utilizing the results of development. The factors driving community participation in development are awareness, community capacity, and rising community income.

The Impacts of the Use of the Bagan Apung on the Socio-Economic Life of Fishermen Communities

This study aims to determine the considerations or reasons why fishing communities use of the Bagan Apung and their impact on the socio-economic life of the fishing communities of Pasir Putih Village, Lembo District, North Konawe Regency. This type of research is using qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results in this study indicate that using the Bagan Apung by fishermen is due to the consideration that it is simple to make, simple to use, and quickly gets the catch. The impact of the use of the Bangan Apung on the socio-economic life of the fisherman community, namely social impacts includes education, social interaction, and health. While the economic impact includes income, expenditure, and investment.
