The Indonesian Journal of Medicine (IJM) is an international peer-reviewed and open access journal in the field of general medicine. IJM aims is to promote the science and art of medicine and the betterment of the population health. IJM recognises the limited availability of high quality medical journals for Indonesian authors in resource-limited settings to publish their research.
The journal publishes original research articles in the biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, and community medicine that translates scientific discoveries into practical applications. IJM also publishes review papers and research in practice, to help doctors make better clinical decisions in the clinic and in research, public health, and health policy settings. IJM is published online four times a year.
