Evaluation of Community Empowerment Programs Through Waste Bank Management: Study on the Kembang Hurip Waste Bank, Sukanagara Village, Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya City
In the activities of the Waste Bank, it is necessary to improve by evaluating the management of the program so that decisions are made for the progress of the program. The program evaluation was carried out at the Kembang Hurip Waste Bank, Sukanagara Village, Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya City. The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of community empowerment programs through the management of the Kembang Hurip Waste Bank program, measured from the components of context, input, process and product. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a casus studies method. The data were collected by using observation techniques and direct interviews in the field and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the success of the Kembang Hurip waste bank program in Sukanagara Village has not been effective, there are still shortcomings that must be corrected and the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure and has not been maximized in socializing to customers. The evaluation of the waste bank program can provide informationin decision making and become a reference for development in programactivities.
