Indonesia already has special regulations governing marriage, namely Law Number 16 of 2019 on the Amendment to Law Number 1 of 1974 on Marriage. It as the National Marriage Law that applies to unification has regulated the requirements for holding a marriage. However, today there are still differences in the implementation process, such as undergoing the BP4R Session for Polri members and their potential partners. The many administrative requirements and lengthy procedures for undergoing a BP4R Session, which incur a lot of costs and take a long time, make Polri members often marry without going through a BP4R Session. In conducting this research, the writers use a normative juridicial approach with a descriptive analytical research spesification. The results showed that in terms of the National Marriage Law, the BP4R Session had several positions and the legal consequences for the marriage of Polri members and their potential partners who previously hadn't/didn't undergoing a BP4R Session.
