Pengaruh Interaksi Sosial Keluarga, Motivasi Belajar, dan Kemandirian Belajar terhadap Prestasi Belajar

The purpose of this study was to determine empirically the influence of social interaction of family, achievement motivation and independent learning on students' achievement at SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. This study used quantitative approach and descriptive correlational method. The population in this study were students of SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the hypothesis of major and minor. It can be concluded that:1) There is a significant family social interaction, achievement motivation, and independence of learning together with student achievement; 2) There is a significant association of social interaction families with student achievement; 3) There is a significant relationship with achievement motivation, student achievement, and 4) There is a significant relationship with the independent study student achievement.

Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter di Sekolah Dasar melalui Penguatan Pelaksanaan Kurikulum

Nowadays we should be proud because the more Indonesian students have succeeded in International Science Olympic. The Indonesian student team was even once to be overall champion in the International Conference of Young Scientists with participant from 19 countries held in Bali on April 12th-7th 2010. On the other hand, some other Indonesian students have shown their disrespectful attitude to public, they like to brawl or fight with the student from other school, get drunk, drugs or narcotic addiction, wild races along the crowded traffic. The phenomenon is then to be the reason for government to conduct “Piloting Project” in 125 schools in 16 districts/cities in within 16 provinces since September 2010. The Objectives of conducting the “Piloting Projects” is to implement the values of character to the students so they can turn their attitude to the positive one. The implementation of character education does not need to be the typical subject nor additional standard of competence but this is, however, integrated into the existing subject or through the self-development and school culture as well as local content.

Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi pada Pesantren Rakyat Sumber Pucung Malang

This study aimed at determining how the use of Information and Communication Technology in the Islamic Boarding School Al-Amin Malang, East Java. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through observation and interviews of leaders of schools, the students, local governments and communities around the schools. The data analysis use descriptive analysis. The results of this study revealed that although the infrastructure and application systems is still relatively limited, but the school leadership has a strong commitment to using Information and Communication Technology in schools. Infrastructure limitations overcome by optimizing of Information and Communication Technology availability equipment by each students and the community. Utilizing Information and Communication Technology, teaching religion to be dynamic and interesting, more diverse media and content (text, images, audio, video, animation, and simulation), the time and place for learning more fleksible, and the students are trained to develop content to be shared via the Internet. Similarly, the use of Information and Communication Technology can re-dynamize culture, and local wisdom (Jagong Maton) and empowerment (Posdaya) around schools. This study concluded that although the infrastructure is relatively limited but the school leadership has a strong policy and commitment to using Information and Communication Technology can be optimized.
