The 1st IMT-GT Regional Conference on Mathematics, Statistics and Their Applications (IRCMSA) was held in Paparat, Lake Toba, North Sumatra, Indonesia from June 13-15 2005. The conference is a forum for researchers, practitioners, scientists, mathematicians, statisticians, engineers, and educators interested in various areas in mathematics, statistics and their applications to exchange information and strengthen scientific cooperation among participants and institutions.
