The increasing of unemployment due to unequalize between growth of people and job vacancies is a serious problem for developing countries such as Indonesia. Entrepreneurship should be supported as the solution to decrease unemployment. Factually, graduated of University contributed highest Indonesian unemployment due to their preference to work at formal sectors than become an entrepreneur. Personality traits (consist of need for achievement, locus of control, risk propensity) as a background factor have important role to stimulate entrepreneur intention. The main objective of this research is to analyse the influence of need for achievement, locus of control and risk propensity toward entrepreneurial intention. Samples consisted 73 Semarang university students who are following entrepreneur programs for student from government in 2011. A Multiple Regression Analysis was used to examine the effect of need for achievement, locus of control, risk propensity on the entrepreneur intention. The result indicated that need for achievement, locus of control and risk propensity had significant influence on entrepreneur intention.
