Abstrak

This study aimed to examine the effect of the choice of location for the success of the business on a micro-scale enterprises / small Shopping Centre complex Jepara. The object of the research is all micro business owners / small complex at the SCJ Jepara which totally 87 respondents. Data obtained by the census method, the results are processed by multiple regression analysis. This study proves that the factors examined in determining business location (close to the infrastructure, environmental conditions as well as cost locations) have positive and significant effect on business success. The choice of location in order to achieve business success can be explained by the variation of the three independent variables of research that is close to the infrastructure, environmental conditions and location costs. This is evidenced by adjusted R2 value of 68%. These three independent variables that have the greatest influence on the success of the business is the variable costs of 46% locations. Meanwhile, two other variables, namely environmental conditions and proximity to infrastructure influential respectively by 25% and 24%. From these results, it is suggested that in selecting a business location, business owners should better take into account the costs incurred.
