Abstrak

—The development of mobile technology today is very rapid, almost all aspects of the use of mobile technology, such as for business, learning, entertainment, communication and others. Mobile technology is preferred because it is flexible to place so it can be taken anywhere. At the moment Android is the most popular mobile platforms. Android smartphone users ranging from adults to children already easily use this mobile platform. Many smart applications developed with Android and has great benefits in everyday life. Android Smartphones also can be one solution to control the location of the child in the morning outside the room. Activities such as school children, playing, walking outdoors without parental supervision to be one of its own concerns for parents. Examples of such concerns is the question that often arises of whether the parents like my son actually went to school? Is my child late to school? Is my child a place to play that I banned?. So the conclusion of this problem is the parents do not know for sure if the child is at the location of the actual activity. Because of these problems then made a prototype system that can supervise and schedule the activities of children at a particular location. By using LBS (Location Base Services) this system utilizes GPS technology (Global Positioning System) is embedded in the Android smartphone, the system will schedule the activities of children at the location specified by the child's parents. If a child enters or does not enter the territory of the location of the child, the Android smartphone will send an alert or message that is sent to the parents of Android smartphones. To determine the functioning of the system well then this system will be tested using the Black-Box Testing. Result of parental system based on Android parents will be able to supervise and schedule the activities of their location easily. Disadvantages of this system are considerable cost, because it uses existing GPS technology in smartphones it will of course be a lot of battery power drain on the Android smartphone. Further development of this system can be developed a special tool which is a stand-alone and not integrated with Android smartphones so that power can be maximized its use and hopefully the future of smartphones developed over a long time battery life.
