: The quality of service is one of the factors that determine people's satisfaction. Good Service will eventually be able to give satisfaction to nthe public. The purpose of this study is to analyze the public service performed at the district office of Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. The object of this study people who the maintenance in the district office of Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Population in this research is the district community of Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir who do the maintenance in the district office. Sampling technique was conducted by “accidental sampling”. The number of samples taken was 99 people. Data collection technique using questionnaires. Data analysisn using qualitative descriptive. Studies show that the quality of public service for the variable physical evidence, reability, responsiviness, assurance and empatymajority of respondents did not agree with public sevices at the district office of Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rukan Hilir. These conditions indicate that if the quality of public services improved as in the case disciplinary officer apparatus, the ability of personnel apparatus in the service process, timeliness in the services, provide guarantees of legality in service, serving with no distinction between communities in providing the service, the people will be satisfied from these service.
