The Shipbuilding Institute of Polytechnic Surabaya (SHIPS; Indonesian: Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya (PPNS)) was established in 1987 by Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). The institute became an independent institute in 2012. SHIPS is a state polytechnic that offers courses and training in the field of shipbuilding and marine-related industries.
