: This research aims to know the impact of bilingual comic as instructional medium on students' motivation, students' involvement, and students' learning outcome in learning science. Learning was conducted by applying bilingual comic as instructional medium in Mixture Separation material. The research was conducted on students of SMP Al-Falah Sidoarjo by cooperative learning type STAD. The result showed that applying bilingual comic as instructional medium with cooperative learning model type STAD could motivate students in learning, made students involve actively in groups and improved their learning outcomes.
