Abstract

This study aims to find out the amounts of the direct effect of Carrier Expectation as Teacher, Self Academic Concept, and Teaching Interest towards Professionalism Teaching Attitude, Self Academic Concept and Teaching Interest towards Carrier Expectation as Teacher, and the indirect effect of Self Academic Concept and Teaching Interest towards Professionalism Teaching Attitude. The population of this research was the students of Elementary school teacher education Ganesha university in the academic year of 2012/2013, which consists of 852 students. The sample of this research was used proportional stratified random sampling technique with 251 students as sample. This research was using simulated ex-post facto research. The instruments of all variables which were used in this study are questionnaire. The data were analysed with path analysis.The result were as follows there was direct effect of Carrier Expectation as Teacher, Self Academic Concept, and Teaching Interest towards Professionalism Teaching Attitude amounts of 0,2971, 0,2724, and 0,1706, Self Academic Concept and Teaching Interest towards Carrier Expectation as Teacher 0,3709 and 0,2084, and the indirect effect of Self Academic Concept and Teaching Interest towards Professionalism Teaching Attitude 0,2496 and 0,2914.
