This research aims at investigating the difference of creative thinking and social study concept understanding of the fourth grade primary school students following science-technology-society learning model and those following conventional learning model. 70 students consist of 32 students from SD Negeri No. 2 Kalibukbuk and 34 students from SD Negeri No. 4 Kalibukbuk were chosen as the sample of the research. The data of creative thinking ability were gathered using creative thinking test and the data of social study concept understanding were gathered using multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and MANOVA. The result of the analysis shows that: (1) there is a significant creative thinking ability between students following science-technology-society learning model and those following conventional learning model (F = 21.507, p<0.05), (2) there is a significant social study concept understanding between students following science-technology-society learning model and those following conventional learning model (F = 3.756, p<0.05), (3) simultaneously, there is a significant creative thinking ability and social study concept understanding between students following science-technology-society learning model and those following conventional learning model (F = 11.917, p<0.05).
