Education has an important role to improve the human resources (HR), should be realized that the educational process is always directed to provide energy or to form a professional educated in the interests of the Indonesian people. Quality education is essential to a quality policy in Indonesia. Therefore, the government should continue working to improve the quality of education through improvements to the infrastructure of facilities and good education. Research method used in this study refers to the 4-D model development consisting of stage-setting (define), stage design (design), stage of development (develop) and the deployment phase (desceminate). The subjects were students of class X Mechanical Light Vehicle. The research instrument used was sheet module validation, test mastery of learning outcomes and student questionnaire responses. Research data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. From the results of the study indicated that the module describes the processes which were developed viable energy use in studying the subject describes the processes of energy conversion machines. It can be seen from the results of the validation module by expert lecturers field of materials, design, and languages with a total average value of 3.26 (validation results including both categories). In addition, the results of the test completeness learning outcomes trial limited class of 10 students showed mastery learning achievement of 100% after participating in learning by using learning module describes the processes of energy conversion machine with the lowest value and highest value 83 90. As well known to students' response to the use of module describes the processes of energy conversion machine got a good response. It is known to answer questions from points 1: 100% interesting; 2 points: 90% draw; 3 points: 80% draw; 4 points: 100% interesting; 5 points: 100% yes; 6 points: 90% yes; 7 points : 90% yes; 8 points: 90% yes.
