Consumer behavior student who worked the freelance SPG (Sales Promotion Girl) raises many new polemic, one of which is about lifestyle. This is evidenced by the consumption of branded goods to be able to exist in a society. This study seeks to answer the problems related to consumption patterns carried by urban student who has a second job as a freelance SPG. The used theory to analyze is Baudrillard's hyperreality. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with which Baudrillard semiotic approach to uncover the simulacra of space-related simulations on the image of the brand can display hyperreality. Subjects in this study is a student who works as a freelance SPG. Primary data collection techniques are interviews and observations and secondary data using documentation and internet. With data analysis using interactive model of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that consumer behavior is done not because the student's needs and desires, but rather on the consumption of brand image in order to gain prestige, inner satisfaction, and greater respect from the surrounding environment. The student makes the body as a sign of simulation shutter to produce shaped hyperreality glamor, stylistic and minimalist.
