Street children is a social problem that is present in the social society. Problem occurs when a person's social status and impaired social functioning are not going well and it relates to the role of the missing or even be lost. Location of  street children as a social problem is due to become street children they has lost the rights such as the right to school or get education. At the time they are supposed to get an education and teaching, but that there is even the opposite situation where they have to work. The aim of this study is to describe and explain what motives in exploiting his parents and explain how a form of exploitation of children by parents. This study uses descriptive phenomenology Alfred Schutz and qualitative date analysis. The results in this study indicate that a child could become street children is certainly due to various factors supporting the background. Background factor  supporting the other not because of the motives of their own parents who deliberately sent them to work on the streets. As for the motive or factor parents employing their children become street children is caused by factors such as the first economic factor.Like we have seen previously, that the existence of street children can easily be encountered in large cities for example Surabaya. Big city life is hard and full competition makes a man unable to face or through it will make them eliminated. So it can not be denied that the weight of life in big cities is the reason of weak economic life.
