Abstract

Mathematics as one of the school subjects is considered to have an important role in forming quality students because mathematics is a means of thinking to examine things logically and systematically. Cases in junior high school are less than the maximum and varied in mathematics learning in the classroom, and that can all be seen from the results of the first half of the repetition which the average is still below the school's Minimum Learning Completion Standard. of these problems using snake ladder learning media. This media is a board game for all groups that is played by 2 or more people. Based on the results of the research in the first cycle it can be seen that the learning outcomes with the application of snakes and ladders learning media are good, this is evident from the student learning outcomes have reached 75%, but this percentage has not met very good criteria. After receiving learning in the second cycle, this percentage increased by 10% to 85% with a very good level of success. This shows that the application of snake ladder media can improve learning outcomes.
