Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi gaya kepemimpinan, supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru IPA pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Tabanan. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 123 guru sedangkan sampel berjumlah 90 guru IPA yang diambil secara random. Data gaya kepemimpinan, supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja guru dikumpulkan denga kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Data dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan regresi sederhana, regresi ganda 3 predictors dan sumbangan efektif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 17%, (2) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 52,3%, (3) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 48,8%, dan (4) secara simultan terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan, supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 65,2%. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara terpisah maupun simultan, terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan, supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru IPA pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Tabanan. Dengan demikian ketiga faktor tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat kecenderungan kinerja guru IPA pada SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Tabanan.Kata Kunci : gaya kepemimpinan, supervisi akademik kepala sekolah, kecerdasan emosional, kinerja guru This research aims at knowing the contribution of leadership style, school principal supervision, and emotional intelligence on natural science teachers' performance in government school in Tabanan regency. This research is classified into ex-post facto. The population of this research is 123 teachers and 90 teachers were selected by using random sampling. The data of leadership style, school principal supervision, emotional intelligence and natural science teachers' performance were collected by using questionnaire with Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed by using simple regression, multiple regression with three predictors and effective contribution. This research discovers: (1) there is a significant contribution of leadership style on natural science teachers' performance in government school in Tabanan regency with contribution of 17%, (2) there is a significant contribution of school principal supervision on natural science teachers' performance in government school in Tabanan regency with contribution of 52,3%, (3) there is a significant contribution of emotional intelligence on natural science teachers' performance in government school in Tabanan regency with contribution of 48,8%, and (4) simultanously, there is a significant contribution of leadership style, school principal supervision, and emotional intelligence on natural science teachers' performance in government school in Tabanan regency with contribution of 65,2%. Based on the findings, both separate and simultanous, there is significant contribution of leadership style, school principal supervision, and emotional intelligence on natural science teachers' performance in government school in Tabanan regency. So, the three factors can be predictor of natural science teachers' performance tendency in government senior high school in Tabanan regency.
