Abstract

Today, kids would rather watch television than reading books, watching TV and even Indonesianchildren for much longer compared with hours of learning them at school. Television consumed bychildren make worried their parents. Imitative behavior this looks very prominent in children andadolescents. Moreover ability to think children are still relatively modest. They tend to considerwhat is displayed in accordance with the actual television. If we consider, in a cartoon with thetheme of heroism, problem-solving characters tend to be quickly and easily through acts of violence.This means the implied message that the violence must met with violence, cunning and evil as wellas other necessary combated through the same ways.From inception, "Spacetoon" has referred to himself as TV kids, this can be seen from theprograms offered at where most of the show is a cartoon. Some opinions from the sound consumersthrough one Internet site www.kapanlagi.com indeed positive tone to the presence of this televisionstation. This can evidenced in the past month, the television channel "Spacetoon" seen by as muchas 1.35 million 2.14 million children and housewives too watch when accompanying the child.The question is whether the program is aired by "Spacetoon" contains the values of social andeducational morality that it becomes a worthy spectacle to be enjoyed by children. The results ofthis study indicate that the program to Spacetoon aired by television stations there are still elementsof the anti- social. This can lead to negative imitative nature of children children who are faithfulviewers of this television station. However, besides that when viewed in its entirety, then the elementthat dominates the program event at this television station is pro-social, so parents do not need toworry when children consume-tayangannya impressions.
