This study is based on the existing problems in the Industrial Engineering Department UPN "Veteran" East Java, which is based on laboratory conditions some opinions from students. Those who have carried out the lab found the facility and the condition of the room was not maximized. Based on these problems then be made to this study by using a cluster analysis with Ward's method. The purpose of this study was to determine the groups in Industrial Engineering lab, know the characteristics of each cluster is formed, and make suggestions for improvements that the group has no value either. Data from this study were drawn from the results of the questionnaire were 60 pieces of questionnaires. And the object of this research is the whole lab in the department of Industrial Engineering. The variables used are divided into seven independent variables, such as discipline, lab materials, teaching methods, time guidance, laboratory conditions, the atmosphere of the laboratory, and evaluation of learning. The seven variables are then translated into 12 attributes question. While the dependent variable is the laboratory conditions is still less than the maximum and needs to be improved to be more optimal. From the data processing, the tenth practicum is divided into 3 clusters. The first cluster consists of 4 lab, the second cluster consists of 4 lab as well. And the third cluster consists of two practicum. And after the characteristics of each cluster, cluster 3 turns out the ones who have to do a lot of repairs. Because of the results of the opinion that the student has become the respondents, lab-lab included in cluster 3 is still not good value.
