In the trannsient state both of the friction plates of clutch are not yet fully connected so the power is transmited by kinetic friction force. This force change depend on normal and their kinetic friction. For maintain the speed and power of vehicle the clutch is often operated in the transient state because in this state the engine revolution can be increased. Study about this characteritics is done by an experiment and theoritical analysis on a single friction plate clutch model. The experiment variable consist of load, speed of revolution and normal pressing force. The result of this analysis shows that the torsion and power is increase linearly when the relatif speed of revolution increase. Because higher speed produce higher heat on friction plat so the the kinetic friction coeffisien is increase too.
