Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyse: (1) the effect of the delegation of authority on the job performance of employee, (2) the effect of the division of work on the job performance of employee, (3) the interaction effect of the delegation of authority and the division of work on the job performance of employee. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all employees of the Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Branch Office Surakarta totaling 84 people. Sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling. The sample in this study were all employees of the Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Branch Office Surakarta totaling 84 people. Techniques of data collection using questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.The analysis of data and discussion declare that (1) there is positive and significant effect between the delegation of authority on the job performance of employee, (2) there is no effect between the division of work the job performance of employee, (3) there is positive and significant interaction effect between the delegation of authority and the division of work on the job performance of employee.
