This study aims to investigate the properties of asphalt concrete using filler dust sponge compared to asphalt concrete with portland cement filler . The results showed that ( 1 ) On the asphalt concrete mixture with a sponge dust filler , bitumen content required more than mix with cement filler . ( 2 ) asphalt concrete mixes with dust sponge filler has higher durability than mix with cement filler . ( 3 ) asphalt concrete mixes with dust sponge filler stability and melting has a value lower than the mixture with cement filler . ( 4 ) In terms of the value of Marshall Quotientnya , mix with dust sponge filler has a higher stiffness compared with a mixture of portland cement filler ( 5 ) Dust sponge can be used as a filler in asphalt concrete mixtures with good performance , which meets the standards of Highways . ( 6 ) The use of sponge dust as filler in asphalt concrete , asphalt content that does not require much different with portland cement filler to achieve the optimum bitumen content .
