Profil Proses Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa dalam Pemecahan Masalah Open-ended Berdasarkan Teori Wallas

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of the students' creative thinking in solving Open-Ended problems based on the theory of Wallas. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects were three students from SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga who had high, medium, and low capability, determined by purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used were a test, interview, and documentation. The research instrument in this study was the researchers themselves and assisted by some supporting instruments in the form of test and interview guidelines. The technique used to measure the validity of the instruments was the triangulation test. The result of the research was the high-skilled and medium-skilled students could pass the preparation and incubation stages well, but passed the illumination and verification stages adequately. Meanwhile, the low-skilled student passed each stage, but could not complete the requirements of the stages. Keyword: Creative thinking process, Problem Solving Open-Ended, Wallas Theory.
