Abstract

This research is motivated by students who lack the ability to solve mathematical problem solving and inability to conclude mathematical information because teachers always provide classical learning and teacher-centered learning. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of improvement of the ability of mathematically creative thinking of grade V elementary school students who get mathematics learning with problem posing technique of button clanging technique and conventional learning. Problem Posing model is a model of learning by focusing students to ask questions and answer it yourself. The ability of mathematical creative thinking is the ability of students to convey ideas through the concept they have in solving problems in their lives. The design of this study was a quasi experiment with the non-equivalent pretest-posttest control of Group Design. Population taken all students of grade V SD in Cileunyi District Bandung Regency. Sampling with incidental sampling technique. Elementary schools that were made as experimental class were SDN Cikalang and SDN Cileunyi VII were made into control class with 30 same students. The instruments of this study include the test of mathematical creative thinking ability and observation sheet. The results of his research are: 1). There is influence of Problem Posing technique of button clipping technique to improve students' thinking skill of mathematical creativity class V SD. 2) There is a difference in the improvement of the ability of mathematically creative thinking of grade V elementary school students between learning mathematics with problem posing technique of jingle buttoning technique and conventional learning. Based on test result of two average of experiment class data gain and control class equal to 0,000 ˂ 0,05. 3). Students have an active attitude after getting treatment with problem posing technique of buttoning technique rattling.Therefore, the problem posing model of button clipping technique is expected to be one alternative to improve the ability of mathematical creative thinking
