Contextual approach is a learing concept which can help the reachers to connect the material which is taught with the students' real world situation. In the learning process especially on Social Studies, the delivered material is associated with student's daily life and it is expected to increase the students' study result so that the learning success can be achieved. This research is a qualitative descriptive research which consists of planning, implementation, observation, and feflection. From the analysis result is known that students' study result has 6% increased, from the first cycle is 59%, the second cycle is up to 65%. Then, it has 27,3% increased, from the second cycle is 65%, and the trird cycle is up to 92,3% The conclusion of this research is that contextual learning approach can increase the student study result on the social studies and it also can be used as an alternative of social studies learning process.
