This study aims to develop a science learning device type STAD cooperative based junior on the theme of photosynthesis. This research is the development of learning tools that use the Dick and Carey model. Its application in junior GIKI-3 Surabaya, on 12 March 2011 and March 18, 2011 with a free trial class is limited to 12 students VIIIC class. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the validity of the syllabus of high category (3.38), RPP is very high category (3.52), Book category of students is high (3.3), and high categories Student Worksheet (3.3) with the reliability of the instrument validity Syllabus 80%, 77% RPP; Student Book 76%; LKS 77%. Distinguished student activity at the time limited trial is to conduct experiments in the group of 35.4%. Accomplishment learning on limited trials largely accomplished (100%).
