One of the causes of low student learning outcomes are less precisely the application of use of learning methods to suit the learning material is taught. It is therefore necessary to develop an alternative to learning that can increase the activity, interests as well as the results of student learning, particularly in the clutch system competency class XI TKR 4 SMK Negeri 1 Kediri. To optimize the learning process researchers tried to use cooperative learning model with the purpose of improving STAD type activities, interests and student learning outcomes. Students who made the object of research is the grade XI TKR 4 SMK Negeri 1 Kediri. This type of research is Research Action class (Classroom Action Research). Each round has four phases: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data obtained through this research are collected and analyzed quantitative and qualitative, whereas instruments used in this study includes learning management sheets, activity sheets, now student response student, and student learning outcomes in each round. Student learning outcomes can be achieved if students can reach complete ≥80% of learning at each learning objectives The result analysis shows that the lecturers in preparing draft and scenario reached 71,8 % in good. For the ability lecturers in applying draft and scenario reached 74,4 % in good. While activity student during the learning process cooperative reached 74,37 % in good. While study result of the students who complete on round 1 there were 24 students rate 75 %, and round ii students completed 27 students rate 84,3 %.
