The research aimed to determine the effect of various plant spacing on growth and production of cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) in the middle plains. The research was conducted in October-November 2012, in the village Bobo Palolo District of Sigi. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) In cabbage plantation consisting of three treatments, namely: Plant Spacing 1 = 40cm x 40cm, Plant Spacing 2 = 50cm x 50cm, Plant Spacing 3 = 60cm x 60cm. with distance future planting period are: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 and 40 Days After Planting. Each treatment was repeated IV (four) times repetition, so there are 12 beds experimental plots. The observations showed significant distances THAT treatment on plant height observations, at the age of 42 Days After Planting obtained Plant Spacing 1 = 37.8b Plant Spacing 2 = 40.4a and Plant Spacing 3 = 40.8a, and Broad Leaf at age 21 Days After Planting obtained Planting distance 1 = 33.82b, Plant Spacing 2 = 33.90b, Plant Spacing 3 = 38.75a, And Weight Crop at the age of 42 Days After Planting Plant Spacing 1 = 1:10, Plant Spacing 2 = 1.52 and Plant Spacing 3 = 40.88.
