Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of the integrated science teaching inquiry oriented integreted type on microbe in environment theme viewed from the aspect of truth concept, difficulty level, readability, conformity lesson plan with the rules of integration and inquiry, holding lesson plans, student learning results, and student responses. This study refers to the 4D (Define, Disgn, Develop and Dissseminate) models which to develop stage. On define phase is found that SMPN 1 Sidayu using KTSP curriculum, but it is implementation has not been taught science in an integrated manner. Design stage produces draft 1 an initial the desain of the integrated science learning. Stages develop acquired suggestions for improvement of the draft 1 to draft 2. Further learning device tested on 32 students in grade VIII SMPN1 Sidayu and validated by 2 and 1 Natural Sciences faculty expert practitioners of SMPN 1 Sidayu. The results of the validation teachers and science teachers in the learning device consisting of a syllabus, lesson plans, student books, worksheets and evaluation sheets successively obtained scores 3.6, 3.7, 3.7, 3.7, and 3.7. The percentage of the average level of difficulty and hand out worksheets at 15.17%, the average percentage rate of legibility are 91% and 90.6%. holding lesson plan of meeting I: 88.7%, meeting II: 90.5% and meeting III: 91.0%. Student learning outcomes is seen from the indicators of student achievement of cognitive products, processes, affective, and psychomotor row gets a percentage of 74.2%, 79.7%, 73.3%, and 75.7%. Studied classical completeness of 78.1%, and the student response is positive which amounted to 89.93%. Validation results of, difficulty, level, readability level, holding level, student learning outcomes and indicators of achievement of student responses can be interpreted in the highly feasible
