Aims of the research are to describe teaching learning process, student achievement, science process skill and student’s responses after following the standard process oriented learning of photosynthesis material. The designs of this research is ‘one group pretest and posttest’ designs whose subject are 30 students of SMPN 2 Dawarblandong at VIII grade in F class. Data from this research is retrieved from observation, test, and questioner method then to be analyzed with quantity description analyze. The result showed that every learning step in standard process was done with good average although at the first meeting the step of facilitating student to do experiment activity in laboratory was done enough. At all, there is an increase of student’s achievement with N-gain 0.47, but student achievement classically is low with the percentage is 16.67%. At all student’s science process skill increase with N-gain  0.41, but student still difficulties to formulate problem, formulate hypothesis, definite variable operationally, and create table of data. Student give very good responses to the implementation of standard process oriented learning in photosynthesis material with the percentage average 91%. Thus,  it can be concluded that the implementation of standard process oriented learning in photosynthesis material at VIII grade in F class of SMPN 2 Dawarblandong increased science process skill although not good yet in all aspect and student achievement although mastery classically not yet.
