Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out: (1) The differences posttest on average of geography learning, (2 ) Gain on average of geography learning, and (3) The effectiviness of problem based instruction learning model. The method used in this study research wais a Quasi Experiment. The sampling was conducted using random. Data collecting tools were used by test pretest and posttest. The used to process the research data was SPSS version 20.0 For Windows.The conclusion in this study: (1) There are differences in the average posttest geography learning, ( 2) gain on average of geography learning, and (3) The effectiviness model learning problem based instruction.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata posttest hasil belajar geografi, (2) Gain hasil belajar geografi, dan (3) Keefektifan model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan penempatan secara acak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berupa pretest dan posttest. Untuk mengolah data penelitian digunakan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian ini: (1) Ada perbedaan rata-rata postest hasil belajar geografi, (2) Gain hasil belajar geografi, dan (3) Keefektifan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction.
