Abstract

The aims of the study is to describe the implementation of integrated science learning webbed type by using problem based instruction model. Beside that, the aims are to describe student’s activity, student learning outcome and student’s response after joining the learning process. The kind of this study is pre-experimental by using one class as a subject at the study. Subject of this study is student of VII grade SMP N 1 Manyar Gresik with the class sample VII-A as many as 32 students. Design of this study is using one shot case study. This research had been done as many as three times. Descriptive data were analyzed quantitatively, by describing data then interpreted into a number based on Riduwan criteria (2010). The observation result is shown that science learning webbed type with using problem based instruction for acid rain theme in student has been managed based on syntax with average scor 3,81 in good category. Based on observation result of student’s activity that activity by psychomotor domain showed very good category (86,5%) and by affective domain showed good category (80,97%). The cognitive domain of the learning outcome was successful 26 students (81,25%), unsuccessful 6 students (18,75%). The result of normality test shows that it is normally distributed classes with χscore <χtable (9,05 <11,1) with α = 0,05. The result of t-test of one-tailed obtained tscore> ttable (α = 0,05), with tscore = 3,02 and ttable = 1,70. This result shows that implementation of integrated science learning webbed type by using problem based instruction model on acid rain theme student learning outcome average more than 75. Based on the results of questionnaires known that students respond positively to the teaching and learning process with very good criteria (93,44%).
