Abstract

Background of this research was Permendikbud number 81A year of 2013 about curriculum development is required considering to balances hard skills and soft skills at each class inter-study program, and regard to sustainability of hard skills and soft skills inter-class. This research aims to describing student soft skills along the implementation of Cublak Suweng game as a medium of learning a additive substance, effectiveness implementation of Cublak Suweng game as a medium of learning a additive substance toward hard skills and soft skills students, and student response on implementation of Cublak Suweng game as a medium of learning a additive substance. Type of this research was pre-experimental with design One Group Pre-test and Post-test design and analysis conducted in descriptive quantitative. Result of data analysis shows that: (1) student soft skills including discipline, self confidence, and communication performance along the implementation Cublak Suweng game as a medium of learning a additive substance mostly in good criteria and had increased from lesson 1 to lesson 2. (2) The implementation Cublak Suweng game as a medium of learning a additive substance toward hard skills categorized sufficient effectiveness. But, the effectiveness implementation Cublak Suweng game as a medium of learning a additive substance toward soft skills categorized in poor effectiveness. (3) Students response was positive toward the implementation Cublak Suweng game as a medium of learning a additive substance. Keywords: Cublak Suweng game, soft skills and hard skills
