Natural Science Learning in Panjunan Elementary currently using conventional lecture method and without the use of instructional media. This leads to low motivation of students participating in learning and therefore contributes to the understanding of concepts. This research purpose to improve student concept of understanding, describing the activities of teachers and students, as well as describing the response of students after participating in learning by using audio visual media. The subjects were fifth grade students of SDN Panjunan. This type of research is a classroom action research. The research data obtained through tests, observations, and questionnaires. The data in this research consisted of data from cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes, teachers and student activities, and the student response data. The results showed that concept of understanding has increased from 71,43% in the first cycle to 82,86% in the second cycle. Teacher activity increased from 74,52% in the first cycle to 84,62% in the second cycle. Activities of students has increased from 74,71% in the first cycle to 81,27% in the second cycle. Response of students has increased from 82,54% in the first cycle to 88,57% in the second cycle.
