The application of direct instruction is made spesially for kicking learning process of student which is connect to procedural and declarative knowledge which is good structured and can be taught with stage activity paterrn step by step, to matter making pattern hip yoke circular skirt technics draping. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the activity of the teacher, student activities, and student learning outcomes and response student by applying direct instruction with approach saintific to the abilities of grade XI clothes organize student in SMK Negeri 1 Jabon, Sidoarjo. The kind of research used is research the includes a descriptive study with data collection methods of observation, test methods. A subject in this research is XI class fashion academic year 2015/2016 to maining 34 student. Research design and experimental research design using impure (pre experimental design),which is one shoot case study. Data analysis using quantitative analysis by percentage. This research result indicates that activities of teachers from meeting 1 with the percentage 90% which means very good , in a meeting 2 and the percentage 97% which means very good. The work of the students on the activity of meeting 1 with cognitive domain get a fractional 88%, while in the meeting 2 psychomotor get a fractional lerning result student with direct instruction was very good, learning result student manner expressed complete in classical “to Pass” 100%.
